This simple guide will teach you how to dodge a gamespot IP ban in 5 seconds.
Background
----------
My Gamespot username is TRega123, and after several suspensions, none of which I actually diserved, I was banned from gamespot. This is despite the fact that I paid to become a gamespot complete member. I used to have a lot of respect for gamespot, but now I am a hater. During my stay at Gamespot I was suspended for...
-Quoting a Bible passage
-Saying illegal aliens do not belong in the USA
-Quoting Japanese law reguarding homosexuals
I was finally banned for giving the moderator that suspended me the golden globalism award. You can view this hilarious message Here. Was this worth a ban? Of course not. But it challenged their liberal ways of thinking and thus may have been offensive.
Gamespot moderators are very liberal and will suspend those who are not politically correct, or are lightly offensive to the oh-so-easily offended liberal. Because gamespot moderators unanimously have the mental disorder called liberalism, I have decided to make their job much harder.
What you need
-------------
A Router
A Modem
How to ban-dodge
----------------
1) Enter your router's settings (usually 192.168.X.X)
2) Clone your MAC Address or create a new one and save settings.
3) Pull the power cable out of your modem. With your router still plugged in, count 5 seconds. Plug your modem back in.
(What happened is your ISP does not recognize you because you changed your MAC address. Your modem will try to reuse your old IP, but will faile because the lease has not yet exipred. Your ISP will automatically issue you a new IP)
4) Create a new account on gamespot. (Use your head, don't create an account that looks similar to your old one.)
5) Have fun ban dodging.
